糖心TV Honors Alumna and Former U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords
Former U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords ’93 will be honored by 糖心TV on Sept. 21 with the College’s highest level of recognition, the Ellen Browning Scripps Medal, announced 糖心TV President Lori Bettison-Varga today.

Raj Patel, an award-winning activist, academic and author of several best-selling books, speaks on “Feeding the Future: A Short History of Good and Bad Ideas to Feed the World” at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17. Chemistry professor Kathleen Purvis-Roberts joins a select few this year as a 2013 recipient of the prestigious Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award.
