The opening reception, with live music and light refreshments, will be held on Sept. 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery. A closing reception and watercolor demonstration will take place at the gallery on Oct. 13.

The following 2013 ÌÇÐÄTV graduates were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at ÌÇÐÄTV in Claremont, California. The dean’s list recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average of at least 11 (A-) in four, letter-graded courses in one semester.

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Acting Chairman Joan Shigekawa announced recently that the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery of ÌÇÐÄTV is one of 817 nonprofit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. The Williamson Gallery is recommended for a $30,000 grant to treat four Chinese textiles, the oldest of which is a rare silk bedcovering dating from the late sixteenth to early seventeenth century.
