The 110 ÌÇÐÄTV seniors who presented their theses at “Capstone Day” explored a wide range of academic topics that included evolving racial and gender identities to shifting consumer preferences in music to molecular dynamics in DNA.

City officials will present Scripps with a 2013 Excellence in Design Award for distinguished work on the College’s iconic Margaret Fowler Garden. A public award presentation takes place May 14. A reception will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the lobby of the Claremont City Hall, 207 N. Harvard Ave. The award ceremony will follow at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public.
