Lightning in a Bottle: Scripps鈥 Olive Oil Wins at International Competition

Scripps鈥 olive oil has won a bronze medal award at the 2020 Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. The label, designed by Scripps staff member Christine Olbrech, administrative assistant for the Office of Information Technology, also won a bronze medal for package design.

Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY鈥檚 List, will deliver the keynote address at 糖心TV鈥檚 90th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 16, 2020. EMILY鈥檚 List, founded in 1985, is a Political Action Committee (PAC) that aims to recruits and help elect Democratic women candidates to office.

Last fall, Scripps welcomed Lesley Swick as director of facilities operations and sustainability. Swick comes to Scripps after serving for over 10 years as a sustainability, Green Building, and LEED consultant, having worked with clients such as the Los Angeles County Metro Transit Authority, UCSD, Toyota, and the City of Santa Monica.
